Earlier this week, Jeff Lalonde sent the executive his letter of resignation as CPA's Vice President. Jeff has done a wonderful job as VP since he was re-elected in June 2018 and we will miss him. As a result of Jeff's resignation, a by-election is required to replace him for the remainder of his term ending October 2021, at which time an election will be held for a new three-year term for VP. Nominations for VP at the virtual General Meeting next Thursday, March 18th. NOTE: The new draft Constitution has been posted for review since January. Make sure you go look at this draft ("Constitution working final revision Jan 21") as it will determine who can be nominated for the position of Vice President. (Old Constitution requires a minimum of one full term. The new Constitution does not require any experience.)
