The Cornwall Police Association and the Senior Officers Association have made a joint inquiry to the Cornwall Police Board for the upcoming new stat holiday National Day of Truth and Reconciliation. We have a joint letter submitted to the Cornwall Police Board for them to add the new stat holiday into our respective collective agreements. The board will be receiving the letter next week and be reviewing it for approval. Once the CPA hears back from the board, information will be relayed to the membership. If you have any questions or corncers, please contact me. Thanks, Matt Dupuis

To all CPA members, Today, the bargaining committee met with the Cornwall Police Services board and requested they return to the bargaining table to re-negotiate. The board has respectively elected to proceed by way of arbitration. Therefore, we will be retaining counsel in order to facilitate the arbitration process. The bargaining committee will keep the membership apprised of any developments. Matt Dupuis Scott Bonneville Perry Ruffo Troy St. Germain
